Carparo
In 1600 carparo was part of Salento’s building, in particular for the famous vaults, largely diffused near Lecce, where the lack of wood and the abundance of calcareous rocks, facilitated the creation of a new type of roof, with high resistance to atmospheric conditions. In fact today we can still admire barrel vaults or cross vaults that dominate undamaged in the ancient area of towns.
Comfortable environments and elegant atmospheres frame the creative wealth of “Carparo”.
Living “Carparo” means living the heat of the house, through the antiquity.
